Different types of Friendship

Back after a holiday, it feels real good.

Here is something I found and I wanted to share it with you!

Are you a Reason, a season or a lifetime?

Pay attention to what you read.

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a life time. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a Reason. . .
It is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Some times they die,
Sometimes they walk away,
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. Then prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.

When people come into your life for a Season. . .
Because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it! It is real ! but, only for season.

Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things must build upon order to have solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use on all other relationships and areas of your life.

Is this making your friendships easier to understand or making it more complicated? Do let me know!

nice one... its very complicated i guess... i mean we could use the the reasoning for the season or lifetime friend and term them reason friend and nothing would change...

hey rashmi..glad u had a nice holiday! I long for one too!! Its been a long time since u posted anything..and this post was really nice start after u break!:) got me thinking miss thinkin cap!

I think it confuses u if u think too deep..all I know is do good and clarify misunderstandings..what has to happen will..
For the lifetime category i think my family comes under that...cause they;re more likely to be ur fren till the end than anyone else!

Hi, It's Poet Guy...

I KNOW ALL THINGS is just the idea that "I" being me, you , everyone know all things.
The Great "I AM" is in play here. Kind of a joke, and kind of a rhetorical statementof being.

Thank you for your Poem...

neat:-)
I always think everything happens for a reason...only that I forget the significance once the event has passed...

I miss the bus, I think it happened for a reason..

But then, the main reason for thinking that way has been to figure out a positive from that sitn..
Once that happens, I just forget about it..:-)

Nicely put though, I wud say.,

Hey Swaha! So am I, Never thought it would happen.

Well Karthik, it's only a kind of scale to make you understand some relationships not all of them,'coz many of them are best left unexplored, right?

Hey Thanx T_E_H_L!Sure Family always comes first!

Rashmi, it was an educated guess :-)... the article had the lines "I do storytelling workshops for children." and a name that sounded familiar.

Sorry, if you didn't want to reveal it in the blog :-).

this 'reason, season and lifetime' funda DOES explain SOME relationships...and very positively too..but the others...like u yourself said "are best left unexplored"! :)

i have no enemies...

each person we encounter, be it for a reason, season or a lifetime, can bring about changes in our lives. the changes may be subtle, and may cause huge sweeping makeovers in out lives over the course of time. call it the butterfly effect.

lovely post.

Hey.. very nice post.. to find a reason for friendship and converge towards finite time(season) or infinite time(lifetime).

Its not just that we have friends for seasons.. they come and go with some foot prints left.. even same thing we do to others..also!..

Everything in Life is a phase. There are very few people who remain in company of friends forever.
Life is meant to be walking ahead in life continuously coz
