Two Movies that made my weekend

Priety & Abhishek were the best part of KANK with ofcourse Amitabh playing a Cassanova to the hilt. A mundane role Preity gave it her "realistic classy" touch & Abhishek was a charmer. The lead pair however disappointed. Shah rukh's reactions & expressions were so predictable. Rani after "Black" was boring. She wasn't maybe convinced herself 'coz her role semed so much of a torture even for her to act it out ,let alone us seeing her! Over all a let down by Karan Johar who had a good first half but didn't know how to carry on in the second. Maybe his affection for Shahrukh didn't permit him to show the "great SRK" as a villian!

CARS

A fantastistic movie especially for adults who are so caught up in the daily grind of the rat race that we are missing out on some beautiful moments of life. Sad but true. The message is so strong & timely. "Life is after all not about winning always." True, right?
An understanding of this simple philosophy will sure make us a happier and satisfied lot. We sure need to chill once in a while & look around ,maybe just maybe we'll become a more satisfied & happier lot. We live only once so why not have moments for ourselves too in that? A great movie & do watch it for it will subtly tell you what YOU are missing out!!!

I want to watch KANK, just for Abhishek, and Rani's saris. I am getting a little sick of watching the same ol combo of SRK, Preity and Rani.

Welcome Aboard Revathi & thanks.I LOVED CARS.

Good TCO! While KANK has its moments.... I thoroughly enjoyed Cars. Absolutely no dull moments.

Rads, KANK is definitely worth it for Amitabh,Preity & Abhishek in that order. Rani doesn't look very good nor does she wear too many sarees. Her dresses are very elegant though!

Welcome aboard Vinesh! I thought Rani loooked better in K3G. They somehow kind of painted her face to make her look fair.

Well Alex, I liked the first half though!

yes cogito, in comparison Cars was totally Paisa Vasool.

To be honest, I havn't watched this movie yet. This whole concept of having affairs while still married is something I couldn't digest.

If something is wrong in marriage, come out of it first. Once divorced, then you are free for whatever. But until the time your married, this is a sin.

Extra Marital affairs Have always caught the fascination of directors. But if you look around there are more divorced today than ever before. So it is this in today's setting that KJ attempted.Thing's are more open today, marriage has lost its sanctity.Maybe if he had set it in a BPO it would have been perfect!

But the silver lining is that there are many people who feel like you & I am glad that there is hope for marriage still!

Mumbai Guy thats right. It was pathetic to see married ppl lusting this way. And it gave the wrong message to many married ppl I guess.
