Down Memory lane!

Hi Friends! Decided to have a different look in 2007, as it brought in so much of hope for all of us. Wondering where i disappeared?

Two very challenging training programmes kept me busy & also meeting my friend who I was going to see after 14 years!

The first weekend went off in the first training programme which had a great feedback. Then the client meeting for the next one to take place around the third week of Jan. The meeting went off well & so started preparations for the training.

Then the day came when my friend who was my best friend in school was to land from the U.S & I was longing to speak to her. I called her up & her mother told me she was out & would call back. I was eager to hear her voice. An hour later the phone rang. I ran to the phone ........ "Hi Rashi" a familiar voice said. "IT" was wonderful listening to her. Then our conversation started exactly from the day we last met. Husbands, kids & us, in that order. But then...... she had mellowed down so much...... I thought. We were eager to see each other. Wanting to look our best on the appointed day we met.

We had become broader than what we were!( Satisfied smiles on both our faces) "Good! I was not the only one who has put on weight in these 14 years "( Simultaneously running through our minds). We went out for lunch together & spent more than 2 hours at the restaurant catching up on each other's life so far. After lunch we walked to a third friend's house to meet her parents. Walking on the Poonmallee high road brought back all the memories for us. Our fights, our problems & how we shared so much with each other.A good three hours and it was time to get back home . It was great walking on that Dharmaprakash road & towards Ewarts. Our lives had taken different routes but this school was our link what pleasant memories. But then we had moved on & that is the reality of life , right?

By end Jan, heard that one of my college friends who is now in Dubai was due with her first child after so many years. Got her number & called her. We spoke after ages & it was great talking to her. She had her bundle of Joy on the 1st of Jan '07 & I was thrilled when I heard she had a girl. She was coming in Feb & another of my college friend was coming too. It was meeting time again. Her baby was soooooooo beautiful.It was a wonderful reunion & we had a great time at her place.

So Jan & Feb was down memory lane.March however took us to the future.My husband got a wonderful opportunity in Bangalore & decided to take it up. The kids had their entrance in Bangalore & cleared it . So come April 15th & we will be back in Good old Bangalore. With so much happening I could not get to blogging 'coz each day was bringing with it something new. Now that it is all settled, I'm at peace.

But then somewhere I'm wondering what Bangalore has for me!!

One thing I know for sure .... meeting some of my blogger friends who are in Bangalore... Right Kavi, Neha?
